Kroll chairman Bill Bratton will receive a lifetime achievement award in border security initiatives Tuesday in Phoenix.
The Altegrity subsidiary said Bratton is being recognized for connecting law enforcement agencies in border security efforts.
Bratton will receive the award at the Border Security Expo 2012 awards luncheon at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Ronald Colburn, former national deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol, will also receive a lifetime achievement award.
Bratton also serves as vice chairman of the Department of Homeland Security’s advisory council, which gives recommendations to Secretary Janet Napolitano.
Bratton previously served as chief of police departments in Boston, Los Angeles and New York City.
Bratton is scheduled to give a keynote address July 19 at a homeland security symposium in Newport News, Va.
Christopher Newport University will host the symposium, which will focus on partnerships and coordination between the public and private sectors.
