ARINC“™s managed services subsidiary won a contract to provide information technology services for Dulles International Airport, the company announced Wednesday.

The contract has a two-year base period and a one-year option.

The Annapolis, Md. based-contractor will provide 24-hour hardware support and preventive maintenance for more than 28,000 parking spaces. These spaces are located in parking areas, public lots and garages.

The company will also develop parking lane technology, fixed and mobile license plate recognition, automatic vehicle identification, proximity card readers and space-counting systems.

Managing Director Christopher Forrest said the new contract continues the subsidiary’s five-year support for Dulles and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which also operates Reagan National Airport.

The company recently won a $9.5 million Navy contract to support landing and unmanned aerial systems.
