ManTech International Corp. has agreed to acquire Sacramento-based antimalware software firm HB Gary Inc., ManTech announced Monday.
ManTech expects to complete the acquisition in March and terms were not disclosed in ManTech’s announcement.
HBGary provides software to detect, analyze and diagnose advanced persistent threats and malware to customers in the the financial services, energy, critical infrastructure and technology sectors.
Bill Varner, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission, cyber and technology solutions group, said Ken Silva will lead the new business unit.
Silva joined ManTech in November as senior vice president of cyber strategy, reporting to Varner.
