
L-3 Communications‘ link simulation and training division has won a $22,022,091 Air Force contract to provide the branch with an F-16 mission training center.
The Defense Department said L-3’s contract includes priced options for up to 20 additional training centers, as well as operational and logistical support.
The contract for the fully immersible Block 40/50 mission training center is firm-fixed-price, firm-fixed-incentive and firm target.
The Pentagon expects L-3 to complete work in Arlington, Texas by June 27, 2013.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is the contracting activity.
