Salient Federal Solutions has appointed two retired Air Force officials to leadership positions in the company’s responsive mission support solutions business unit, Salient announced Monday.
Retired Lt. Col. Jim Mullin will serve as a program manager for Salient’s aviation and logistics training programs. The company said he will also supervise technical support and will support capture and proposal development.
Salient credits Mullin as an expert in aircraft maintenance, training, operations, and program management. He served 28 years in the Air Force as an enlisted airman and as an officer.
Retired Chief Master Sgt. James Perdue will serve as a project coordinator, responsible for developing and managing client relationships. The company said he will also serve as a liaison with government agencies and offices in contract execution and follow-on efforts.
The company said Perdue has more than 20 years of aircraft maintenance management experience and 30 years of experience maintaining avionics subsystems for aircraft.
“With the addition of Jim and James to our training leadership team, we are working to ensure that we provide the Air Force the most effective curriculum, featuring the information that is most pertinent right now in serving and protecting our country,” said Linda Harris, a senior vice president of Salient.
