
Brian O’Toole is chief technology officer at GeoEye Inc., a position he has held since since 2008.
O’Toole develops and manages the company’s technology projects and solutions in geospatial intelligence and location-based services globally. He also leads the strategic identification and development of new geospatial products, solutions and services for GeoEye’s customers.
O’Toole’s leadership experience prior to joining GeoEye’s leadership team includes service as vice president of product management for Overwatch Textron Systems.
Additionally, O’Toole co-founded and served as president of ITspatial, which was acquired by Overwatch. O’Toole directed MultiGen-Paradigm’s Washington-based operations. He was also director of infrared/electro-optical simulations systems at Amherst Systems.
O’Toole started his career with GE Aerospace’s New York-based electronic systems division as a systems engineer. O’Toole holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Clarkson University and holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University.
