Integral Systems, a subsidiary of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., will complete developing and fielding the RAIDRS Block 10 event detection system, Kratos announced Tuesday.
Kratos said Integral Systems received a $9.9 million contract modification from the Air Force’s Space Command and Missile Systems Center. Kratos said RAIDRS, when complete, will characterize electromagnetic interference from multiple communication endpoints to a single location.
“This action represents a significant milestone in the RAIDRS program by establishing the contractual foundation for Kratos to deliver the final operational capability to the Air Force to meet AFSPC’s defensive counterspace mission requirements,” said Bob Wright, senior vice president of Kratos’ Integral federal solutions group. “We are extremely proud that we will continue to serve the Air Force by protecting critical satellite communications links.”
