ATK has named Amanda Covington the company’s vice president of corporate communications, effective Jan. 16, the company announced Thursday.
In her new position, Covington will head corporate communications operations that impact employee, media and public relations, among other areas.
She first joined the company in 2008 as direct of communications for ATK’s armament systems in Clearfield, Utah. The company reports she has 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism, government and media relations and strategic branding.
“ATK will significantly benefit from Amanda’s focus on developing long-term, collaborative partnerships and her ability to lead innovative communications strategies,” said Steve Cortese, senior vice president, ATK government relations and corporate communications.
