Verizon has brought together its enterprise operations under the umbrella of a new global organization, which will serve all of the company’s government and business customers.
The company said that Verizon Enterprise Solutions will oversee the company’s enterprise mobility, cloud computing, information technology, strategic networking and advanced communications offerings.
Beyond serving public sector clients, the organization will work with the healthcare industry, among others.
Kerry Bailey, current group president of Verizon’s Terremark IT solutions, will serve as chief marketing officer of the organization.
He will be joined by Verizon Wireless’ current chief information officer Ajay Waghray, who will serve as chief intelligence officer and lead all IT initiatives. John Stratton will serve as president of the new organization.
