Northrop Grumman employees from its Azusa, Calif. facility recently collected and donated more than 2,700 shoe boxes for the Kid’s Stuff U.S.A. benefit program sponsored by Feed The Children. This is all part of the firm’s 15th Annual Holiday Shoe Box Gift Project drive.

“Northrop Grumman has a long history of providing support to local communities, which is one of the pillars of our company’s corporate citizenship initiative,” said Stephen J. Toner, vice president of Northrop Grumman’s Azusa operations.

“Through their volunteer efforts, employees exemplify the true spirit of giving, especially at this time of year, by participating in programs such as this. Thanks to the generosity of the employees, we exceeded our goal of 2,000 shoe box gifts,” Toner added.

The shoe boxes were filled with holiday gift items for children ranging from infants to teenagers, and includes clothing, toys, games, books, dolls and personal care products. Over the past 14 years, Northrop Grumman has donated more than 27,500 shoe boxes for needy children and distributed nationally by Feed the Children.
