DRS to Connect Special Ops C4ISR Systems on Tablet Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting eventDRS Technologies‘ tactical systems subsidiary will soon provide the U.S. Navy with joint platform tablet systems. The platform will provide a common interface between all C4ISR systems for special operations vehicle platforms.

The Pentagon announced the platform tablet systems will aim to enable users to control and monitor all communications, navigational, command and control and intelligence gathering systems.

The company won a $48,637,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award for the work, which will upgrade currently fielded systems.

The Pentagon expects the work to wrap up in December 2014.
