
IBM executives are to head the keynote speaker lineup for an upcoming cloud computing conference taking place Dec. 5-9, 2011.
Cloudcor announced IBM‘s headline keynote speaker lineup for annual UP2011, a hybrid format cloud computing conference taking place at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif., and broadcast online.
“At UP2011 senior-level business leaders from public and private enterprises attending the conference will learn how forward looking institutions around the world are leveraging the transformative power of cloud computing to rethink the way they use IT for business transformation,” said Rich Lechner, vice president cloud marketing at IBM, in a company release.
According to the release, IBM’s keynote sessions will cover such themes as how the cloud aligns with the enterprise to streamline business processes and how to enable end-users to realize the efficiencies of migrating to the cloud.
IBM employees Maria Azua, vice president of advanced cloud solutions and innovation for IBM global technology services division and Yuchun Lee vice president of the newly formed enterprise marketing management group, will deliver keynote speeches on the first and second day of the conference.
