Earlier last month, employees of Concurrent Technologies Corporation participated on the “Heroes of Hope“ team in the 13th Annual Greater Alleghenies Light the Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The “Heroes of Hope“ team raised approximately $6,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and sponsored the entertainment for the event. The total amount raised at the walk was approximately $90,000 with donations continuing to come in.

The Light the Night Walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s nationwide evening walk to raise awareness of blood cancers and raise funds for cures. Employees and other walkers carried illuminated balloons“”white for survivors and red for supporters“”to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. The walk took place at the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, PA campus.
