
SAP AG has been recently recognized as one of the top 20 largest green companies globally by the Newsweek 2011 Green Rankings. The firm ranked 20th in the rankings with an overall score of 75.2 percent. It also ranked fourth globally in the “Information Technology & Services“ category.

Newsweek evaluated each company“™s environmental footprint, management of the footprint and transparency. The companies were also assessed by its management practices such as policies, programs, initiatives and controversies.
