Memphis, Tenn. awarded Science Applications International Corp. a $37 million dollar contract to provide IT services and solutions to the city’s Division of Information Services.

Under the contract SAIC will monitor the Memphis IT infrastructure, delivery and system operations, cybersecurity and telecommunications support. Thirty percent of the contract will also focus on local minority businesses.

“We are proud to be selected by the City of Memphis to implement world class, scalable and flexible IT solutions that enable them to move to a contemporary IT-managed services model while providing enhanced capabilities across their agencies to improve citizen services,” said Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.

The contract has a five year base period of performance.
