Booz Allen Hamilton employees worked the ground in Uganda for six weeks this past summer with the local Centers for Disease Control and Prevention office to develop a five-year strategic plan. About 200 plus Booz Allen employees and CDC Uganda staff were involved in the process.
The group is working to address the most serious public health issues in Uganda. “The effectiveness of the Booz Allen team in creating a Strategic Plan for CDC-Uganda is an example of our deep expertise in health, strategy and communication,“ Grant McLaughlin, Booz Allen“™s vice president.
The Ugandan Ministry of Health approved the implementation of the strategic plan. The work in Uganda will continue throughout the fall.
