Cisco Systems has recently hired two former Juniper Networks employees for its own service provider sales force. Sales executives Neal Oristano and Jim Labovites will join Cisco as the firm's newest vice presidents.
Oristano's role at Cisco will be as vice president of global service provider market segment sales and Labovites will join the firm as a vice president. Both executives will inherit sales of Cisco's Videoscape TV platform.
“We're thrilled to have added some of the service provider industry's top sales talent to continue to drive our success in this market,“ said Rob Lloyd, Cisco's executive vice president of worldwide operations.
On a recent blog post, Cisco also announced the hiring of four more former Juniper executives, including James Godson, Ray Testa, Tom Roberts and Dan Darrow. Nick Adamo, senior vice president of service provider sales and global service provider market segment, said he looks forward to continuing success with the new team by Cisco's side.
