Avaya’s services will support VA’s 16 major initiatives across its 11 key IT offices and will include the Department of Defense/ VA Interagency Program Office.
“The ambitious initiatives outlined by the VA will provide better benefits and services to the men and women who have served our country. Avaya Government Solutions is proud to have been selected by the VA to participate in the support services BPA,” said Steve Derr, vice president of sales, Avaya Government Solutions.
Under this BPA, Avaya will provide management, oversight and business and technical services to the VA in support of its 16 initiatives to transform the agency for the 21st century. Some of the initiatives include eliminating veteran homelessness, streamlining veteran disability claims and establishing a Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record for veterans.
