Chris Shimizu is the vice president of information technology and chief information officer of Raytheon Technical Services LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon. Serving in her current position since 2008, Shimizu is responsible for developing IT solutions for RTSC“™s customers and program.
Other tasks include strengthening customer relationships and industry partnerships, working closely with RTSC business units, cross business teams and the business development organization. Prior to her current role, Shimizu served as the enterprise sourcing director with Raytheon“™s Space and Airborne Systems business.
Some of Shimizu“™s philanthropic activities include supporting the Professional School for Arts in Northern Virginia, supporting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity as well as the Braille Insitute. She holds a bachelor“™s degree in business computer methods.
