Booz Allen Hamilton will sponsor the National Museum of American History's presentation “September 11: Remembrance and Reflection.“ The display of artifacts from the day will be open for public viewing Sept. 3-11, marking the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

More than 50 objects will come from all three sites of the attacks-New York, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa. Artifacts including airplane fragments, a Pentagon map recovered from the building's second floor and a door from a crushed NYFD fire truck will be displayed on tables instead of behind glass cases.

“Ten years later, our country will pause to remember the incredible losses of Sept. 11, which included the losses of three Booz Allen employees who were working at the Pentagon,“ said Christopher Kelly, who oversees Booz Allen's homeland security business.

“Remembrance and Reflection“ is the latest in the series of Washington, D.C., museum programs sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton. The museum is the official repository for Sept. 11 materials, with objects, photographs and documents preserved permanently in the museum's collections.

Kelly said his company is proud to support this latest museum display. “Museums bring us together to learn, think, imagine and reflect,“ he said. “This event is an opportunity for the public to remember and express their thoughts on one of the most defining events of our time.“
