According to Alion Chairman and CEO Dr. Bahman Atefi, diversity is something customers look for in a company. In a recent interview on the firm“™s website, Atefi spoke about what diversity means to him and his company.
“Our business both in terms of diversity, the background and the type of person is important to the kind of business we do and it also important to our customers,“ Atefi said. “Our customers want to see that we have a diverse workforce.“
Atfeti also talked about the diversity aspect of working in Northern Virgina, where Alion is based. “One of the great things about Northern Virginia, specifically Fairfax County, is that you really have access to a very diverse group of people in terms of education, ethnicity and so on,“ he said.
The CEO went on to say the company looks for diverse individuals, but only the ones who are highly educated, motivated and focused on providing the kind of technology solutions the company is known for offering.
