Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has released a new report detailing its recent corporate responsibility efforts, noting the company“™s accomplishments in ethics, sustainability and diversity among a host of others.

Highlights of the new report:
- Raytheon“™s focus on independent board oversight, accountability and transparency has helped boost its overall governance approach, as well as open communication with shareholders.
- According to a recent company survey, a majority of employees rated the company“™s ethics education as relevant and useful.
- Last year, the company was recognized by Minority Engineer and Equal Opportunity magazine for the the company“™s commitment to hiring and promoting a diverse work environment.
- For the fourth year in a row, Raytheon was awarded last year the 2011 ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award by the Environmental Protection Agency for its efforts in energy conservation and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
