
CSC has won two task orders from the Transportation Department worth $48 million over a period of 52 months.
The firm will provide IT support to the John A. Volpe Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, Mass. The terms of the contract also require CSC to provide software development and testing support for the center“™s highway safety and environmental initiatives.
CSC“™s President of North American Sector James Sheaffer said the company will use its global capabilities to provide the Volpe Center with leading-edge solutions in cloud computing, open-source and climate change technologies.
