Steven W. Alesio has been elected to the Altegrity, Inc. board of directors and to the boards of directors of certain of its parent companies and subsidiaries.
Altegrity is a Providence Equity Partners portfolio company that provides investigative, security and training services to federal government and private-sector clients. Alesio currently serves as a senior adviser of Providence Equity Partners.
Before joining Providence Equity Partners in 2010, Alesio was chairman of the board and CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and held those roles from 2005 until his retirement from the company in 2010. From 2001 to 2005, Alesio served in various senior leadership positions, including senior vice president, president and chief operating officer, and was elected to the board of directors.
Prior to joining Dun & Bradstreet in 2001, Alesio spent nearly two decades with the American Express Company, where he served in marketing and general management roles.
Alesio is currently a director of CDW and Genworth Financial. He is also the founding sponsor and senior adviser of the All Stars Project of New Jersey, a nonprofit focused on inner-city youth.
