Siemens Energy, Inc. announced today the appointment of Jim Jones as director of wind turbine blade manufacturing for the Americas region.

“We are very pleased that Jim will be heading this important activity for us,” said Kevin Hazel, vice president of supply chain management for Siemens’ wind power business in the Americas. “Given Jim’s extensive experience in manufacturing, service and repair operations, he is highly qualified to oversee and manage our growing blade manufacturing activities in the North America region.”
Siemens Energy is on the cutting edge of wind power and renewable energy. The company researches, develops, manufactures and installs wind turbines worldwide. The company recently released its latest; a direct drive gearless wind turbine for low to moderate wind speeds.
