SRA International will host a Mobile Security Symposium Feb. 14, 2011, at the W Hotel in San Francisco.
Mobile security experts will discuss technology and strategy for protecting the security of mobile devices at the event.
The symposium will showcase the One Vault Voice, an encrypted mobile voice solution, developed by SRA.
According to SRA, session topics will cover the current mobile threat landscape and what mobile device users can expect from cyber criminals in the future; mitigation approaches; mobile data security; and integration of mobile security into existing cybersecurity strategy.
“The growing popularity of tablets and smartphones is driven by their accessibility, ease of use and associated productivity gains,“ said SRA Senior Vice President of Offerings and Products Pat Burke. “With that comes the challenge to safely integrate these mobile devices into corporate IT infrastructures without compromising security. The Mobile Security Symposium provides a forum for cybersecurity professionals to learn about solutions for extending enterprise-level network controls and policy enforcement to mobile devices.“
