Science Applications International Corporation won a task order awarded by the National Institutes of Health to provide software and technical support to the Center for Scientific Review.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order has a six-month base period of performance, nine six-month options and a total contract ceiling of more than $24 million, if all options are exercised.
The CSR receives all HIH grant applications and organizes the peer-review groups. Among other things, SAIC will provide assistance in software and web development and network administration.
“We look forward to continuing our support of the CSR as it continues to enhance systems and enable a more efficient and cost effective way of conducting scientific reviews of grant applications,” said Steve Comber, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “We take great pride in supporting the technology requirements that facilitate the peer review and research grant evaluation process, which lead to advances in improving the health of our nation and world.”
