Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal will speak to the Potomac Officers Club on Nov. 18, the organization announced.
McChrystal plans to speak about leadership and his varied experience, which includes being appointed commander of U.S. Forces Afghanistan and NATO ISAF, leading more than 130,000 troops from 45 allied countries.
Currently, McChrystal is teaching a seminar at Yale University“™s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, also about leadership.
The event will take place at the Tysons Corner Ritz Carlton near Washington, D.C., and is sponsored by Qinetiq North America.
