Identity-assurance software provider Daon announced the release of an updated version of its critically hailed Credential Connect software.
The new software, Credential Connect 3.1, is focused on physical access provisioning, taking stored data from an identity management repository and synchronizing that across physical systems.
Daon CEO Tom Grissen said the software “provides our current and future customers with physical access provisioning capabilities while greatly enhancing ease of use and reducing ongoing costs in deployments.”
“As our customers continue to deploy Credential Connect for heterogeneous access control environments, they benefit from the added functionality including enhanced capabilities in governance, compliance and risk,” he added.
The software has already been picked up for development by one of the largest defense and aerospace contractors. When the rollout is complete, it is estimated to serve more than 100,000 employees and more than 100 locations.
