Sevatec, Inc., a Northern Virginia based technology and consulting firm, announced last week it will be enhancing its cybersecurity capabilities with the acquisition of Intrepics, LLC., a cybersecurity systems company also based in Virginia.
“We are very excited about our first strategic acquisition, and welcoming the great folks of Intrepics to our organization,” said President and CEO of Sevatec Sonny Kakar. “Intrepics has great cultural alignment to Sevatec, and a strong history of service and value consulting to the federal government.”
Since its beginnings in 2006, Intrepics has developed a strong portfolio of cybersecurity services and has experienced yearly corporate growth. Sevatec will incorporate these services into its design and implementation of innovative, cost-effective, and client-centric solutions for its federal customers.
“Their expertise in cybersecurity and overall management consulting complements and enhances Sevatec's core service offerings,” added Kaker. “At a time when the federal government“˜s top priorities converge on addressing security risks, this strategic alignment accelerates Sevatec's ability to help the government with their most critical security challenges.“
According to a statement, Sevatec has served all 15 cabinet-level departments including Department's of Homeland Security, State, Labor, Defense, Transportation, Justice, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, as well as NASA and other independent agencies. Sevatec is SBA certified and minority owned.
