The Mission Integration Business Unit currently has an opening for a Senior Cyber Analyst.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The individual will help establish standards, procedures, and guidance for various elements in responds to foreign activities. Develop aspects of Cyber Policy to support the national strategy. Provide cyber security and networking technical expertise to support IT infrastructures. Develop security and network components of technology roadmaps. Address the risk created by threats to computers, networks and systems, and infrastructure. Advise managers on issues, impacts, risks, options, and implications of various decisions. Maintain awareness of security in all aspects involving the development of information architectures.
May support policy and procedure development for agency, interagency, or community-wide support. Works on complex problems. Recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organizations. Frequently interacts with customers and senior managers in multiple agencies and elements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences (or related field) and 9+ years of related experience. Expert knowledge of computer network and system security theories, principles, practices, and tools. Policy experience with policy directives on the National Intelligence Strategy, cyber capabilities, vulnerabilities, and threats. Excellent knowledge of technologies to support information management, processing, storage, and dissemination. Knowledge of the requirements definition processes. Demonstrated oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
DESIRED SKILLS: Substantive experience in computer network attack, exploitation, or defense. Experience in DoD operations and planning.
