
Andrew Maner is Chief Executive Officer of National Interest Security Company (NISC), An IBM Company.
Before joining NISC, Maner was President of ABM LLC, and served as Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Homeland Security from January 2002 to March 2006. While he was CFO for the Department of Homeland Security, Maner was responsible for the department’s strategic planning, budget, finance and investments. He also was Chief of Staff at Customs and Border Protection, where he led the integration of all border agencies into one single DHS agency.
Before DHS, Maner held various executive positions at companies in both the private and federal sectors.
Maner’s government career began in the White House press office of George H.W. Bush. Before this, he assisted nation-building efforts in Somalia.
Maner earned his B.A. from Purdue University and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Armed Forces Foundation.
