
Kevin L. Jackson serves as director of Air Force business development, Washington operations for Alliant Techsystems, Inc. Jackson’s portfolio includes tactical programs from the active duty, reserve and National Guard components of the Air Force. He serves as ATK“™s primary interface with these customers as well as the company’s customers in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He joined Honeywell/ATK in 1982.
Jackson has provided marketing expertise for Air Force, Navy, Army and DARPA pursuits in two separate stints in Washington operations. He provided marketing leadership while in the Clearwater and Plymouth and Arden Hills facilities as director and vice president of business development.
Before returning to Washington operations, Jackson was vice president of the ground sensors and munitions business segment for ordnance systems.
Jackson completed the management principles course at the University of Minnesota Management Academy and Contractor Finance for Acquisition Managers at Defense Systems Management College. He was a participant in the ATK Leadership Development Training program and served as a mentor in ATK“™s mentor/mentee program management development effort. He has completed Six Sigma Champions training.
Jackson graduated from Lehigh University in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics.
