This year has been busy for Bob Coleman, CEO of Six3 Systems. He went from serving as president and COO at ManTech to partnering with GTCR, a private equity firm, to form Six3 Systems, a contracting firm specializing in providing national security and defense intelligence. Based in Fairfax, VA, Six3 Systems has already expanded its national security offerings with the acquisition of Harding Security Associates (HSA).
Coleman looks “forward to building a business strategically focused on solving some of our nation’s toughest national security challenges.” His drive to build a “highly specialized national security services provider focused on solving our nation’s most pressing security challenges domestically and abroad,” will certainly help to build Six3 Systems into a premier contractor for the national security and intelligence communities.
Coleman has been described as “a thought leader of the industry” and has a successful track record of growing companies. During his tenure at ManTech, Coleman piloted the company’s acquisitions and growth, increasing revenue from $827 million to over $1.8 billion. The agreement to acquire HSA took Coleman only two months to secure and placed Six3 Systems in the midst of the DoD’s intelligence analysis and forensics using biometric data.
Before joining ManTech, Coleman was the founder of Integrated Data Systems, which supplies technology and cyber security services, where he served as president and CEO from 1990 to 2003.
